Colbert Returns Monday, Jan. 7, 2007!
Comedy Central reports on the front page of their website that The Colbert Report will return next Monday with or without writers.
I have a feeling that Colbert may simply have a couple of extra guests like Kucinich and/or Ron Paul.
What do you think?

I've been having a really hard time since I read that on nofactzone. I've been able to hang on sort of putting it out of my mind, but now that I know actual guests, I know that it is happening, I want it to be Monday so bad!

What is it with you people and the stubble? 
They probably have beards right now, since they usually do when they're on break. But they'll also probably shave before their shows.
If they don't though, I wouldn't mind seeing that...

No, reading the contents of the official show thread on the colboard is NOT as if we watched it.... it doesn't get counted as part of the ratings.
If anyone is counting hits to the colboard at this point they would see that the database is becoming corrupt and needs administrative attention, they would not be able to effectively count how many hits they 'would have had' as far as people reading any given post or thread, because for the past several days the board has been throwing errors.
In other words, you can read the thread (if you can log onto the colboard) and, to my knowledge, it is 'not' considered crossing the picket line.... just don't click on ANY of the banner ads, EVER!
