So there's a media forum.
Anyone want to BS about movies?

Seen anything good lately?
Theater or DVD...doesn't matter.
Let's talk about some movies.

Just saw Sweeney Todd the other day...very good. Then again, it's hard to make something bad when you have Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman (who are both gods) and Helena Bonham Carter (who's a goddess). Highly recommended...even if you don't like musicals.

I'll probably go see that.
I like Tim Burton's movies, and it's got a great cast, so...yeah. Smile

Last thing I saw in the theater was I Am Legend. It exceeded expectations. But then again my expectations were low, soooo....
I thought quite a bit of the CGI was unnecessary and very poorly rendered, but over all the movie wasn't terrible.

I saw Charlie Wilson's War tonight and it exceeded my expectations. It was very well done and really showed how much Congressman Wilson did. I do reccommend it to anyone who's interested in those types of movies [one without a real climax but just tells a tale].

I think I'm going to see Sweeney Todd tomorrow. I know, I should've gone to see it when it first came out; I'm a lame Johnny Depp fan =P

Everyone must see Juno now. My two cents. Best movie of the year, and Roger Ebert agrees with me.

I like this time of year because all the good movies come out in a rush because of the Oscars. I'd like to see Sweeney Todd, but I'm afraid it will be too much for me.

I loved Juno and Sweeny Todd, but I heard bad things about Charlie Wilson's war, even though I wanted to see it.

Someone told me there's a Sundance film coming out that's called Teeth that's about a girl who has teeth in her vagina. Is this really a movie??? Confused

Charlie Wilson's War looked good in the previews...now I'm not so sure.

I saw Alvin and the Chipmunks over break...talk about cuteness on helium!

I saw Juno on New Year's Day. I LOVED IT! I did, however, realize how much I miss those guys from "The Office" when there was a scene with Rainn Wilson.

I recently watched all three seasons of "Arrested Development" on DVD. My friend and I traded DVDs. He had never seen "The Office" or TCR and I had never seen "Arrested Development" so we exchanged with each other. "Arrested Development" is pretty funny and I enjoyed seeing some of my favorite funny people make cameo appearances.
