yes, I do have a full backup of the board. I updated it last a bit before christmas, but the computer it is on was turned off, and is 200 miles away. So I will have access to it again on Jan. 13 (or 14, whatever sunday is), if it takes that long.
As for making it viewable, I'm not exactly sure how to do that. If anyone wants to host it, feel free, it is about 4 gigs, I think, and organized so it is all self-linked html

Do you just have a site rip backup or were you able to actually get the database off of Avery?
If you have the database back up and the forums are down for like a week again we should seriously just consider restoring the database somewhere else and using a new domain.
Think about it; we could actually have an admin or two!

no, its a site rip. I'd have to pry the database out of avery's cold dead fingers, and since I'm not even convinced the said fingers exist, that would be hard

I have no idea how we would go about restoring the site using a site rip. I'm pretty sure we would need the actual database from Avery; which I can only assume would never happen.

there's no way to restore it completley if it goes down perminately, but the site rip is completely self linking, so all I'd have to do is host it on the server just as html, and it would be read only
